You put the handlebars on wrong. The cables should be coming up from the left side of the bike so that they can be secured on the small prong on the back left of the front rack. Just remove the bars and pass them under the frame and back up from the left.

I remember driving from FLa. to Detroit.. saw a billboard with the new Fiero on it.. 1984 and as I made the curve around on I75 there was a new Fiero ingulfed in flames on the side of the road.... GM's new death trap... if you buy a Fiero, make sure your house is no more than a block away from the fire department... LOL

I miss driving stick shift cars.

My mother and I encountered an accident last Wednesday/Thursday after coming back from picking up chicken feed. There were a bunch of vehicles stopped on the other side of the road with people getting out to help but we couldn't see the vehicle that crashed until we got closer. From what we could see it was a motorcyclist and they were driving one of the giant touring bikes, like a Goldwing or a big Harley. The ditch they were in was so deep even a small car would have had an issue and they were literally sideways and nose first into the culvert. Come to find out Saturday from my sister-in-law they either hit a deer or crashed while avoiding a deer. Crashing a small bike sucks let alone crashing something the size of half a minivan. As for your fuel mileage, I think almost 24mpg is quite acceptable on the Fiero. They were made as cheap fun sports cars after all so excellent fuel mileage wasn't the main priority. According to my own dash readings my truck says it averages 16.9 mpg. My town is all hills and intersections. :)

It's pretty bad moto, that my dodge minivan gets better Gas mileage than your fiero... i average about 26mpg.

The super charged LS are definitely nice but the new corvette 8 iv seen one with a flat tire and hit the lip of there drive way and the frame cracked there insurance ended up totaling it sad just because the tire was flat definitely not as strong as they use to be. A heck of a lot faster though 💯💪👍✌️🫡

I take my 93 year old Mom to the park to feed the ducks and geese. That always reminds me that I need to toss my kayak into my mini truck and do a couple of laps on the lake just before sunset. I need the exercise, but also the improvement to my mental health. I should put the 17 foot Grumman lake canoe in the mini truck, hanging 11 feet out the back. It looked hilarious when I did that with my old Tacoma, but it'd look even funnier in the mini truck. I'll be sure to snap a picture for the Mini Truck Talk forum.

Throttle cable is pinched or stretched on the right of the fiel tank (theres a bracket there).. I have the same problem with my handlebar risers.

In 1982 I was a test driver for EG&G Automotive Research here in San Antonio, TX. I drove one of the first 5 Pontiac Fieros as a test driver. At the time I was unaware that it was a Pontiac Fiero at all. It was a very secret project and myself and the other drivers carried car covers to cover the car whenever we stopped for anything.

WOA-wa-WOA-OH!!!! I took a look around Florida. I’m not thinking it’s for me. I need super quiet, peaceful, etc land. I think I’ll end up in the upper Midwest. With that said, thanks so much for showing us the Crystal River area. I love the people around there. They remind me of the “Midwest nice” kind of people. I miss that. I’m out on the Left coast where everyone hates everybody. Anyways, thanks for all your awesome videos! Once a cheesy, always a cheesy!
